That figure rules. I just got one a couple weeks ago. I have kept him carded, but think I am going to pick up an extra to open.
I had to venture out to the bank today, and as I hadn't been to TRU in months, I figured I'd go and see if they had anything worth looking at.
they were pretty bare as usual, with not much to see at all (although I did see an unleashed chewbacca that, if I collected that line, I would've bought cause it looked cool).
however, I did spot this hanging on the pegs:
at last, I have my hands on the toybiz morgul lord witch-king ring wraith. I've been looking for this figure since CM sent me the king of the dead, which was an indication that that wave of figs was in stores.
He's a really kick ass figure..probably my favorite so far out of all the LOTR figs that toybiz has released. I also saw the new faramir figure, which looked pretty good as well, but I limited myself to the morgul lord today.
it seems toybiz is finally firming up their weapons, cause his sword and his huge mace are both made of sturdy plastic (as is the king of the dead's sword). It's not all bendy like a lot of the other LOTR weapons are, so I doubt his sword will look like it needs viagra in a month or two. The spikes on his helmet are soft and rubbery, but that's probably for the best..they won't snap off if he takes a dive from the shelf.
His paint job is excellent, his helmet looks great, and his robes are also really well done when it comes to paint and detail.

Ah if I'd known I woulda grabbed a couple back when I got the two King of the Dead figures...my mistake in foolishly waiting on buying them, since the Nazguls sold out fast. (Walmart will have them back though, they're reliable with LOTR stuff.)

I think he actually makes the regular wraith look puny and poorly done...if I were looking to pose this witch king with other wraiths, I'd just buy some of the original witch king figures from the FOTR line. especially as that figure can be found easily now as they re-released it.Originally posted by Cemetery Man:

the figs is cool...will see if we get him to Sweden ..Im thinking to pick him up just so I can have him with the faoul beast
yeah he's definately my fav LOTR figure, thelittle "flaps" that coem down from where the hood is under the helmet bugs me though, they're kinda misshapen on mine... [img]confused.gif[/img]
